Balco upgrade cements future

18/06/2008 1:55:00 PM
LEADING hay exporter Balco has commissioned a new processing line that will improve its output efficiency and capabilities.

The Canadian built processing line - the Hunterwood - replaces one of Balco's two processing lines at Balaklava.

Managing director, Malcolm May, says the processing line is a significant investment for Balco at a time when the industry was facing very challenging conditions.

"The Hunterwood is expected to greatly enhance the efficency of production and given the current market conditions all efficiency gains are vital," he says.
