Willalooka's lasting legacy

19 Jun, 2008 11:20 AM
Willalooka Pastoral Company is the life's work of its dedicated general manager Malcolm Macdonald.

And while Malcolm and his wife Alison will retire later this month after 50 years service to Wallalooka at Marcollat in the Upper South East, they have left a lasting legacy. They developed the property from a 2024-hectare scrub block to a productive 11,000ha aggregation of six properties.

Willalooka is home to one of South Australia's leading Angus and fine wool Merino studs, and large-scale beef and wool commercial enterprises.

Mr. Malcom MacDonald, will be sorley missed by Willalooka, and indeed its long-standing clients. Malcom has been a great asset to Willalooka, making our annual purchases of stud stock and their freight to our Central Western NSW property absolutely seamless. Congratulations and many thanks Malcom.

Isn't Willalooka also a leading Murray Grey stud?
