Beef Week draws big crowds in stud sale preview

19 Jun, 2008 11:19 AM
Large crowds trekked across the North of NSW this week as part of The Land's Northern Beef Week.

From Sunday June 15, stud producers opened their doors for the enthusiastic public to admire an array of exciting bloodlines.

All breeds were on show from the smaller Devons through to Charolais, Angus and Herefords.

Many of the breeders used the event as a stress-free bull inspection prior to their on-property sales which begin later in the month.

With groups of more than 80 visiting many of the dedicated properties, the Northern Beef Week has definitely been a successful event.
