NEWCOMERS and seasoned users of precision agriculture systems are well placed to advance their operation with the FM-1000 Integrated Touch Screen Display, part of the Case IH range of Advanced Farming System (AFS) products, the company says.
The FM-1000 contains two GPS receivers which give farmers greater choice when it comes to steering both the tractor and implements.
Until December 15 , Case IH is offering trade-ins on its previous model FMD and on selected competitors’ model steering systems. Coupled with this, Case IH is offering 9-months interest free on all Case IH Advanced Farming Systems products, including the FM-1000 until 30 November.
Case IH claims the FM-1000 is the most advanced aftermarket precision ag product featuring a large touch screen colour display and simple functionality to ensure ease of use.
Using the FM-1000, farmers can undertake a wide range of tasks from choosing the right level of auto-steering, to monitoring implements such as seeding bin metering systems through up to four external cameras.
“The FM-1000 is the first product that allows operators to choose a steering system to suit their individual operation, while still having the capability to do everything a standalone precision ag system can do such as field coverage mapping and variable rate seeding,” explained Ross Johansson, brand manager, AFS Precision Farming and Guidance.
