 Extra warranty makes an impact

Extra warranty makes an impact

There’s plenty of logic behind Kubota Australia’s decision to offer an additional warranty policy, according to company spokesman Patrick Loiacono (pictured).

He says while Kubota equipment has a great reputation for quality and durability, over the years, certain customers have called for extended warranty on Kubota’s range of agricultural products.

Kubota’s new Xtra Warranty offers a range of customers various warranty options in addition to the standard factory warranty – especially useful when forecasting future maintenance and servicing costs.

For Kubota mowing equipment and utility vehicles, options for additional warranty range from an extra one to three years, or 500 to 1500 hours (whichever occurs first), thereby making it possible for users to warrant their equipment for up to four years, or 2500 hours.

Likewise, compact and utility tractors up to 42kW (57hp) can be purchased with extra warranty for up to three years to provide a total warranty of four years or 3000 hours -whichever occurs first and, similarly, depending on the model, warranty on farm tractors up to 93kW (125hp) can now be taken out to a maximum of five years, or 5000 hours.

Being fully transferable, the Kubota Xtra Warranty adds value to Kubota agricultural machines if the unit is on-sold to another party within the warranty period.

Patrick Loiacono says the company’s Kubota Xtra warranty is “exceptional” value for money with all major castings and parts therein covered, including:

• crankcase,

• oil pan,

• gear case,

• cylinder head,

• clutch housing,

• transmission case,

• differential and final drive housing as well as

• hydraulic pumps and major electrical items.

An extra three years warranty on a petrol ride on mower is $700 while an extra two years warranty on a new 71kW (95hp) M40 series tractor is $1,750.
