TWO top-selling models typify the in-roads being made by Kioti Daedong tractors across Australia as the brand gears up to celebrate its tenth year of operations in this country.
Its DK551 and DS4510 (pictured) demonstrate the dependability, ease of use and value for money associated with the increasingly popular South Korea-built marque, according to Kioti Daedong product manager, Stuart Phillips.
Its 40kW (54hp) turbo diesel DK551 utility tractor, available with cabin or ROPS, comes with a 12 by 12 synchronised transmission provides, plus a hydraulic clutch to allow operation of independent rear PTO with three selectable speeds (540/750/1000rpm) to power a wide range of implements.
“It has no problems with baling, fencing, unloading big square bales, even hauling a 16-row direct drill seeder with a pasture harrow and metal roller,” Stuart Phillips said.
Meanwhile, Kioti Daedong’s 4WD 33kW (45hp) DS4510 ROPS tractor is said to have made a successful entry into the lifestyle and hobby farmer market some nine months ago.
It features a 540rpm PTO, 8 by 8 constant mesh shuttle transmission, wet disc brakes, rear differential lock and hydrostatic power steering.
Flexibility is enhanced with a high-flow hydraulic pump with its 1100kg lift capacity means the category 1 three-point hitch has power to spare for mowers and other large implements.
Stuart Phillips said a 58 degree turning circle and fold-down ROPS enhanced agility in tight corners and low clearance areas.
Kioti Daedong tractors are distributed by PFG Australia and its marketing manager Karl Gawlik says the company has developed a national network of more than 70 dealers supported by its Melbourne-based National Parts and Service Centre.
As well, he said the company was looking forward to “some exciting developments,” also new Kioti Daedong products during the year ahead.
