FOLLOWING on from the success of New Holland’s pink toy tractor promotion, the company is taking it one step further by also painting five of its compact tractors pink.
To be sold across the country, each will see $1000 from the sale price donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
As well, an additional 50 limited-edition units will sport National Breast Cancer Foundation decals with $500 from each of these sales donated to the same cause.
Two of New Holland's key suppliers have assisted in the logistical side of the promotion, with the team at Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics providing their services free of charge, overseeing the painting of the tractors prior to them being shown at various field days.
Meanwhile, Gunn Freight is shipping the units free of charge around the country.
New Holland marketing manager Simon Vigour said: "Breast cancer is a disease that doesn't discriminate and can affect us all.
"Unfortunately, throughout our lives, we will all know someone who has had breast cancer, or is going through treatment.
"Initiatives such as the New Holland Pink Tractor Campaign provide a vital contribution that allow the National Breast Cancer Foundation to continue its essential and life-saving work."
With 36 women diagnosed everyday with breast cancer, and one in eight diagnosed with the disease by the age of 85, this invasive cancer continues to touch the lives of many Australians.
The pink tractors have been scheduled for display at field days across the country over the coming months, including Agquip, Dowerin, Ag Show in Toowoomba, Henty Machinery Field Days, Elmore Field Days, Paskeville Field Days, plus several other shows leading up to the end of the year.
Also on display at the field days will be a limited number of pink toy ride-on tractors and scale models - all available for purchase.
