The former chairman of Australian Agricultural Co, Nick Burton Taylor is selling his cattle-fattening properties in Boorowa on the south-west slopes of NSW,
The Australian Financial Review reports.
Mr Burton Taylor was a prominent figure in the dramatic shake-up of the AAco board this year. He was unceremoniously dumped as chairman and then reinstated as a director by the company's biggest shareholder, Dubai-based IFFCO Poultry.
He will sell more than 4500 hectares of prime cattle country, expected to fetch more than $17 million.
Mr Burton Taylor confirmed the properties were for sale and said the move was part of his cattle company's plan to develop its breeding herd.
The herd is bred on 200,000 hectares in north Queensland and on other properties in the Boorowa district.
