15 Feb, 2011 07:12 AM
WATERS from the January floods are continuing to affect north west Victorian towns including Barham, Kerang, Lake Charm, Benjeroop and Murrabit.

Renewed stream rises are occuring in the Loddon River at Kerang due to the arrival of upstream floodwaters, while rural flooding in the communities between Murrabit and Benjeroop is continuing and expected to for the foreseeable future.

The Murray River at Barham is causing minor rural flooding however the river is sitting steady at 5.66 metres.

Minor rural flooding is also expected in the Swan Hill communities of Tyntynder and Pental Island, at the Wakool Junction and up to Mildura.
