RSPCA raps duck kill

29 Dec, 2011 07:40 AM
ALLOWING duck shooting to go ahead again is irresponsible, naive and outdated, the RSPCA says.

Agriculture Minister Peter Walsh yesterday went to Yarrawonga, on the Victorian border, to announce an expanded duck and quail shooting season for 2012, with shooters allowed to kill up to 10 birds a day for 87 days. The season will run from March 17 to June 11.

RSPCA Victoria hit back. ''The decision to go ahead with a duck shooting season in 2012 is biased, self-serving and not made based on a balanced argument,'' RSPCA Victoria president Hugh Wirth said in a statement.

RSPCA, due to there stand against agriculture in general, they have been totally removed from our donation list. Never again will they get one cent from us. They are beyond reasonable.

Who cares what you think Love the country? You are biased and unreasoned. The RSPCA are not in place to satisfy farmers..they are there for animals.

Any part of that you dont understand?
