Vehicle has great appeal for rural consumers

Thorough market testing in tough and rugged conditions has ensured that Mahindra Pik Up will deliver on the expectations of the Australian driver, according to TMI Pacific and Tynan Motor Group of companies chairman Michael Tynan.

The vehicle will strongly appeal to rural consumers and tradesmen, however, its large tray, price and cabin size especially in the four door, will also appeal

to sports people and families.

“On that basis we have no doubt that we’ll be able to fulfill our initial projection of 600 units sold in the first year,” Mr Tynan said.

TMI Pacific began 2008 with a bang announcing an additional four new dealers, and seven new dealer sites across the Queensland and Victoria markets. This is an extension of the existing 18 dealer sites that have come on board since the vehicle was launched.

“Our plan is to continue to develop the NSW and Queensland markets and we’re excited to now be offering the vehicle in Victoria. We are on track for a roll out across the nation by mid to late 2008 as originally planned.”

TMI Pacific, which operates from a newly acquired 15,000 square metre head office in the southern Sydney suburb of Sutherland, is dedicated to servicing the Australian market with all after-market services, spare parts distribution and technical training of specialists.
