VICTORIA-based dairy producer Warrnambool Cheese and Butter (WCB) as today appointed former Parmalat Australia chief executive David Lord as its new CEO.
Mr Lord will in June replace WCB's interim chief executive officer John McLean, who will take on the role of associate director.
WCB chairman Frank Davis said in an announcement to the ASX today that he was delighted to have attracted somebody of Mr Lord's calibre to the company.
"His background in dairy has given him experience of working in partnerships with farmers and I am confident he will work well with suppliers," Mr Davis said.
