The Victorian Farmers Federation's Grains Group has again publicly urged all members to vote yes on the proposed AWB constitutional changes.
VFF Grains Group president, Geoff Nalder, said that it was time for the industry to move forward in spite of the many challenges it faced.
"For too long we have been hampered by debates over structure rather than ensuring growers have access to the tools needed to ensure their success," Mr Nalder said.
"I believe the time has come for all grain growers to support the constitutional changes and to allow AWB to move forward.
"Most importantly growers must vote. These constitutional changes require a 75pc vote in favour to be passed."
Mr Nalder said the changes are necessary in order to move AWB towards a structure that will enable it to compete in a deregulated environment.
"This vote is not about the single desk, nor is it about what has happened in the past, this is about having a strong financially viable company servicing the grains industry with a raft of products that will benefit all growers," Mr Nalder concluded.
* Any grower who is yet to lodge their votes should do so by fax or online at http://www.awb.com.au/. Votes must be received by 2pm on Tuesday, 19 August. All forms must be lodged to make sure that your vote is counted.
