Bendigo lambs steady after price falls

PRICES at this week's Bendigo, Vic, lamb sale have held steady at rates equivalent to the lower prices of recent weeks.

The yarding comprised a good representation of new season's lambs, now completing their first month of selling across northern Victoria.

About 1200 young lambs were included in this week's overall lamb supply of 9,569.

All selling agents offering five or six pens each.

Prices averaged mostly 460-480c/kg dressed.

Best drafts of trade and heavyweights sold for $92, with a top of $115, achieved on several occasions.
