All the usual buyers attended however not all were active while restocking demand was well below that of recent weeks.

There was an excellent selection of heavy and extra heavy lambs which comprised the bulk of lambs offered, however many drafts of light and trade lambs were plainer and showed the effects of the recent weather.

Demand was weaker over nearly all classes but also varied for price trends. Light and extra light 1 and 2 scores made $40 to $90 with most lambs selling at $2 to

$10/head cheaper.

Light trade 2 and 3 scores sold from $84 to $101/head or 430c to 460c/kg cwt. The 3 and 4 score trade

lambs made $96 to $126.60 or 450c to 480c/kg cwt and averaged mainly $2 to $5/head easier. Heavy 4 and 5 scores sold $118 to $154 to average $5 to $10/head cheaper and returned mostly 400c to 450c/kg cwt.

Sheep numbers lifted on those of recent sales and included more woolly ewes and wethers. Demand wasn't as keen although one extra buyer made purchases however others were not as active or bought smaller supplies.

Prices across all weights and grades averaged $2 to $6/head easier but odd sales were equal or close to unchanged. Light and extra light 1 and 2 score ewe mutton sold $33 to $70, 3 and 4 scores from $69 to $100/head. Light 1 and 2 score wethers ranged between $24.60 to $77.60 while young and older 3 and 4 score wethers sold between $68 to $103/head.

Processor averages were between 250c to

270c/kg cwt. Rams of all weights made $46 to $58 to processors and restockers payed $62.60 to $94.60/head.
