Baillieu offers piece of history for sale

16 Nov, 2009 10:27 AM
Another member of the Melbourne establishment Baillieu family is selling a rural property.

According to The Australian Financial Review, Joanna Baillieu and her partner Neil Griffin are selling the mixed farming property North Tilburra outside Warwick in Queensland.

The 1050 hectare property is steeped in history.

"We have a paddock called the 'cricket pitch' where a touring English eleven played and another paddock where Charles Kingsford Smith landed," Mr Griffin said.

Ray White's Danny Bukowski is marketing the property.

The entire aggregation could sell for more than $10 million.
